With Tylan 50 you can inject anywhere, Tylan 200 will damage the muscle since it's so strong. Since you are just going to treat the one I would isolate her until it clears up and keep a close eye on the others.

On another note I was able to let out one of my bourbon red hens today with the chickens. She has been laying down for me the last couple days and I took that as a sign I might be able to get her back in the coup. Sure enough she layed down for me later in the day by the run and allowed me to pick her up and put her back in with the rest. tomorrow I will be letting her and my other bourbon red hen out as they run together. Hopefully it will go smooth.

Tommie seems to be feeling much better. We gave her a third shot this morning and let her range all over the yard. Still sounds bad but seems to have more energy. Time to go out and give her the evening dose and put them al to bed. Looks like she is recouping well with the Tylan 50 and I think the vitamins and electrolytes are helping. Will post as she progresses.

Tommie is feeling much better today. We have been giving him 1ml of tylan 50 morning and night since Saturday. She is doing so much better. Saturday I thought she was a gonner, she slept most of the day laying down in the run. Last night I caught her for her shot and her breathing was clear, no raspy or huffing and puffing (except by me). today she is looking and acting normal. I think another couple of days of meds just to make sure it does not come back and she will be good as new. I am planning on getting some yogurt for her tomorrow as I have been told antibiotics killl of the good bacteria in her gut. Will try to get some pictures tomorrow

Tommie seems to be all clear now. I am stopping the Tylan and keep an eye on her but I thinks she is good to go.
