Turkey die off HELP

I have a younger flock, all 8-9 months. Suddenly they are starting to die off, lost 3 in 2 days, and looks like i'll lose 2 more today. Vet is stumped too, treating for pneumonia, state ag dept requested 2 birds (1 live, 1 dead) to be delivered to their lab tomorrow. But if we lose the 2 today we are down to 4 left of 9, with the state wanting a live, 3 left of 9

It's hard to say but it sounds like the lab will figure it out. Hopefully they just want to get swabs and blood from the live one and will not kill it.

Going from showing symptoms to mortality in a matter of a few hours

Lethargy shortness of breath and death in 3 hours

Doesn't sound good. It is odd that all are affected. What are they eating? What does their area look like? Things I would think are are viral diseases, air borne irritants, and food. Is it possibly moldy or poisonous. Things like aflatoxin can kill birds.

So sorry, hopefully they help you figure it out. I would certainly like to know if they find anything out for you.

The vet yesterday couldn't figure anything out we are taking a carcass and a live bird to the Florida state AG lab tomorrow morning

One of the hens that started showing symptoms this morning has recovered though
