11 week old turkey, he gets a very dirty butt all the time we are forever cleaning him, vet says he's really healthy and his diets fine. I feed him growers turkey but I feel he should be getting grit wondering if I should give him oyster shell and perhaps some greens, any advice welcome

You refer to the turkey in the masculine. If it is a male there will never be any reason to provide oyster shell for it. Oyster shell is not grit. It is a calciul for hens that are either laying or about to start laying. Juvenile turkeys whether male or female do not need oyster shell.

If your turkey is not getting grit on its own, you do need to provide it grit. Greens such as short grass clippings are fine as long as your turkey has grit.

You could buy grit or use small pebbles. Any good feed store will carry grit for poultry. Here we get huge ant hills which a good source of coarse grit. My birds free range and forage for their own grit.
