Turkey egg? Dead, alive?

I was so over joyed to find what I believed was my first turkey egg of the season!
But joy quickly turned to sadness when I candled the egg. It looks like it was incubated for a while and has died? It’s very sloshy.
Only two situations seem to make sense to me. Either it’s a guinea egg left over from last year(jumbo pearl) that somehow I’ve missed despite having searched the area completely and having the grass matted down from snow. Or.... it’s a wild turkey egg that a scavenger dropped sometime over night. I’m 95% positive there was no egg there yesterday.

But I’d really like some others options. Would wild turkeys have been laying already for one to be this developed already this season? (Minnesota)

I wonder how I managed not to see it till now
It would make sense given the location, but dang it I’ve combed over that grass so many times. Haha.

At least part of the time it was under snow.

Oh that would be so mean and gross!

I couldn’t help myself and did break it open outside. I dropped it on a rock. I held my breath because I was scared of how bad it might smell. It was.....green
