Turkey egg or just a VERY large chicken egg

I have a 8 month old Bourbon red, i just found an enourmous egg in the chickens nestbox. I didn't see who layed it.

Could it be a turkey egg, or is it just a freakishly large chicken egg. The picture is taken with the large egg and a few of our other eggs which are also large (jumbo size if you bought them at the store)

I haven't gotten any turkey eggs yet but that looks like a chicken egg. Turkey eggs are usually spotted from what I understand.

needs brown spots (freckels) to be a turkey egg its about right size!!! my guess chicken egg turkeys eggs have tough shell and a real tough lining around yoke! to know for sure break it for your breakfeast tom!!!

I say chicken egg. I have one pullet that lays them that big every day and she laid an Extra Jumbo that I am going to video tape as I crack it.

Our turkey eggs had a different shape. That is a chicken egg. Owee!

I also think that is chicken egg, but I was seen turkey egg without spots. total white

Turk eggs are more pointed on one end & are usually spotted.
