Hatching is an immensely tiring process. They are so little and have to do so much work just to turn and peck at the shell. It's a lot of work, so you shouldn't worry just yet.

Yes babies seem to make a little rocking when getting into position

You may see a little rocking in between but some stay still and quiet others get loud and rock away
