Turkey Feed

My turkeys are eating me out of house ad home! I am feeding them Purina Flock Raiser. They are going through fast. Is there a better food with high protein that I can get cheaper or buy it in bulk? Right now I am getting 50lb bags for $20 per bag. Can Broad Breasted Bronze turkeys breed and raise young?

broad breasted turkeys usually are artificially inseminated. At least that is what I have read.

Are you raising them to butcher?

If so maybe cut your feed with black oil sunflower seeds and cracked corn.

Or feed a lower protein feed then supplement some with ground up floating fish food. Mixed in it.

I have not had any broad breasted. But from what I've read on here. If your not gonna butcher they need to be on lower protein with fresh greens. To help aleviate potential health problems. And growing to large.
