Turkey hatched with umbilical cord trouble

I have 2 turkey eggs tried to hatch last night both had a good pip hole with break showing. When I woke up still the same I lost one day before cause it could not hatch out , so I help both by removing a little bit of the shell leaving the membrane on. About an hour after that it finished hatching but something happened with umbilical cord.

That should dry up on its own/scab over and fall off in a matter of days. If not, do an advanced search on `umbilical problems'.

Thank you for the info I was afraid it had pulled off and had hernia. I've had similar things. Happen to chicks and they die in a day or 2.

That could happen as well. But had one with a slightly larger `protrusion' than yours that shrunk and dried, so hoping it is like that.
