Turkey help!!!!!!!!!

we are getting turkeys, as i know hardly anything about them. i have a couple of questions!! turkey experts help!!

1)can you eat the turkey eggs??

2)how do you tell the females and the males apart??

3) will they eat usual dumore (pellets/crumble) chicken food??

and 4.) what should you use for bedding???

Turkey Experts PLEASE HELP!!

1. Yes

2. I'm not 100 percent sure on this but the males are usually quite a bit larger and have longer snoods.

3. I believe they need more protein than chickens.

4. I used shaving in the brooder and hay in the pens when they were adults.

Just tried turkeys myself for the first time this year and I'm hooked! They aren't the smartest creatures to walk the earth but I like how they bond to people. Good luck to you and your flock!
