So I have one turkey hen named princess who is the sweetest thing. We all love her very much. She’s somwhere around or under a year old. She’s very energetic royal palm, always following you around and seeing how high she can fly.

So I’m very concerned, she’s been acting normally all week. But today she’s constantly laying down and very slow. She’s not following me around or flying. We have blue slate Tom, and my husband said that he saw him on her today. He’s new and has been trying to woo her for the past month but they haven’t bred, until now apparently. So I was thinking maybe he hurt her mating? But there’s no visible injuries. So maybe he’s just to heavy on her? And then I thought maybe she’s trying to lay her first egg, since she’s young and this will be her first laying season. But I don’t think it would affect her this much.

Please help, any advice is appreciated! Thanks

Did you check to make sure he didn't spur her? Make sure you check under her wings and along her sides. If you just have the one hen I suggest you contact @Auroradream26 and get her a saddle to prevent injury.
Is she eating? Is her crop full? Have you looked at her poop? She may be getting ready to lay that first egg. It's that time of year! And it can throw them off a bit. I imagine it's a weird feeling the first time they lay! Keep an eye on her. Make sure she's eating & drinking & order her a saddle.
She sounds delightful!!

Yes, I completely checked her out to make sure she had no injuries. Besides I doubt he could spur her since he only had little buds right now.
As for eating, she’s eating a little less than normal but her crop is full and her poop is completely normal!

I'm no expert on these matters but, it maybe something as simple as shes not getting a nutrient she's needing especially if shes starting to lay. The turks i had years ago started to act different and it turned out to be just that. To this day still don't know what it was they were not getting in their feed. I started feeding them Tomatoes and they perked right up. Can't say that will help your situation, but cant hurt to try,
