My turkey hen disappeared a few weeks ago and came back three days later. We assumed she had a nest somewhere in the bordering woods. She came back almost daily for quick water and food breaks. A few days ago our other birds were acting odd so we went looking for her and found her laying on babies. So the next day we went to take them to their own little safe space in the coop... 10 have hatched and there are three more coming!we want to socialize the chicks because of our mean male turkey, should we hold them or let her do it all?

Let the hen raise them - it is much easier that way.
Second this, let the hen raise them. One thing we do with out flock is when a hen has babies, we try to get close to the hen and give her food, this way the babies get used to us. We are careful not to upset the mom by picking up the babies, we touch them when they get close to us but don't make them scream by holding them again their will. Mom or your mean tom may attack you to protect them.
Here is one of our BBB hens with her poults.
