Hey all. My mom told me she heard the geese hollering, and I looked out my window to see some of my turkey hens doing one of their recognizable "Hey something I dont like is here!" calls (lots of chirp yelps with loud pwips after) So I went outside to check how everyone was doing and I found my favorite turkey, Sparrow, walking around with wings visibly drooped and hunched over. Today is a day where she would normally lay an egg (she lays one every other day) so at first I thought she was just going to plop one on the floor like she did before. But she didnt. She ignored me when I talked to her and moved slowly away, which she normally never does. I got closer and noticed some blood on her wing, not much, and brought her inside. I figured maybe her saddle cut into her. I took it off, and found dried blood on the elastic. I looked at the spot where the saddle sits, it looked wounded, but the wound was old and healed over. I kept looking and found a wound on the... elbow? of her wing.

I'm wondering if its sprained. If I can treat it at home I'd like to, but I am 100% willing to book her a vet appointment asap. She is my baby. I know turkeys are incredibly hardy, but I worry bc shes smalle then the others(they're all about 2 or 3) and partially blind. I applied some vetericyn wound gel to the spot.

Thanks for any help.

Edit; For more information: She doesn't like it when I try to lift it up or stretch the wing out. I was trying to inspect to see if there were any other damages hidden under her feathers but I don't want to hurt her and she kept pulling her wing back. She can still move it, thankfully, but she doesn't seem to be able to really keep it held up.

I've got her set up inside for the night so she doesn't get picked on on the roost or anything.

Im not the best with turkeys, but it seems alright. If she can move it around a bit its probably just hurt and not sprained, sprained on animals is usually them not able to move it, and there would probably be more blood (but if it was internal that wouldnt be the case) id keep a good eye on her, and help her treat the pain with some medicine (im not sure what kind because i dont own turkeys) but definitely get her a vet appointment later on if some things get worse to double check
