Turkey housing question

So I have raised turkey before along with chickens. I let them out in the morning and at night they would naturally return to the coop along with the chickens. Now I am wanting to raise strictly turkey's and I have a dumb question, do turkey naturally return to the coop at night like chickens? Or was mine freaks because they were raised with chickens from poults.

Leave them in their run/roost area for twice as long as you would chooks before letting them out and then only let them out in the evening to range when you are there. As soon as they start flipping their heads to the side to eyeball roof of house/trees, use a couple of long sticks and herd them back into run.

Ours took about a month of training. That generation taught the succeeding generations to return to run and park themselves on the roosts in their shed.
