Well my turkey got a mating injury about 3 weeks ago and we put some blu kote on her and she was doing good, but now she's limping and I don't know why. Is it because it could be getting sore or something I'm not aware of?

Are you sure she didn't get hurt again?

She's been separated from the male ever since because of this so she doesn't get injured. I also check the wound all the time just to make sure she's ok. Do you know what could be happening?

You could have hurt a hip getting down from a roost.

It couldn't be that because we don't have a roost anymore. Unless she jumped on the ramp instead of walking into the coop? I have no idea, but I'm just concerned about her. She's limping on the side of the injury which would mean it would have to relate to that injury I would think. The injury is pretty deep and we had to cut off the part of meat that was hanging because it would have gotten infected. Yet this was a month ago and she wasn't limping or is she starting to really heal and can now feel the soreness of the wound?

Without observing her in person, I can't say. If you have a vet available you may want to check with the vet.

Ok thank you trying to help I'll have to give some further updates or something.

Has her limp gone away? You mentioned ramp, and I thought of the time I had a turkey hen slip (on accident) down the chicken ramp. She had a limp for a while after that.
