turkey laying eg gs....how often

my hen just laid her first eg g ever on Monday. no more eg gs since. do they just lay sporadically like that, or do they eventually get to every day? i have a friend who gets an eg g a day out of her turkey hens.

Our Bourbon Red and Black Spanish lay every other day usually.

All of mine are laying almost daily....some daily.

yeah just give her some time.

young hens will do that sometimes and/or lay daily. they soon will be on an every other day egg. build her somewhere where she feels safe ,its darker then her surroundings and out of the way of all the other turkeys and she will call that her nest and settle down.

Two of my girls - lay ever day - this is their second yr
One - her first yr - lays for a couple days straight and then goes on strike and right now is laying about ever other day but has gone 4 days without laying before.
