Turkey leg bands for showing

I need 3 numbered bands not the min order of 25 all the poultry supply places sell. I won't go through 25 turkey bands in 10 years! Anyone know any place I can buy just a few turley sized NUMBERED bands or anyone with spares willing to sell me some?

You don't need legbands for exhibiting your birds. If you only have three, they should be easy to tell apart. Besides, your birds should be tested anyway. The bands that are applied when they are tested, all have different numbers. Just use those. If your birds are too young to test, they are not old enough to be competitive.

?testing? for what? NPIP doesn't require banding, but all the poultry shows around here require numbered leg bands on the birds.

I didn't get leg bands from NPIP.

25 leg bands are cheap. Or if you look on ebay, sometimes you can find smaller amounts. The larger size bands are harder to come by, though.

Or you could buy 25 and sell the extras on ebay.

Go to the meet-ups section and see if anyone who is going to the fall poultry swap in Corvallis is going to be selling leg bands large enough for a turkey. I know one vender sells chicken size ones.
