Hi guys, I was told I have a male and female 13 week old pair of pulse but both of them have mohawks. Does a male grow a mohawk on the head?

Post pictures. It is helpful to have a full picture from the front, one full side view and one that is taken from the behind looking down and showing the back of the neck and top of the head.Hi guys, I was told I have a male and female 13 week old pair of pulse but both of them have mohawks. It might be too soon to tell from photos since some toms can be late developing. My initial guess is that is a hen. Once it gets its fully mature breast feathers you will be able to tell because a dark feathered hen will have light colored edges on her breast feathers and a tom will have dark colored lower edges on his breast feathers.Sorry ...photos here of Edison
Are they male?I have four with all of those male specific traits and a mohawk. The rest of the head is bald.
It may well be a late developing male. If it is a male, eventually the mohawk will go away and it will become bald. His face turn beet-red when you go near him or aggravate him. He's much larger than his companion and thicker, longer legs
