I just noticed my girls nose. She is just shy of 5 months. Raised in a flock of 20 layers, babies, rooster, and her brother. About 5 days ago I stopped a neighbor dog in the coop. Thankfully everyone was “okay” but I have been monitoring excessively.

Her nose seems different and I don’t know what is wrong or how to help.

Looks like it may have gotten rubbed on something. I wouldn't worry about it. If you feel you have to do something, paint it with Blu-Kote.

It could be rub marks if she's been fence walking or you use a feeder that is smaller. To me it looks like the start of fowl pox if you have mosquito in your area. Wounds should improve, and fowl pox will get worse before getting better in about 4-6 weeks.
