Turkey poult still has cord attached to egg shell, not coming off on it's own or will it?

It has been a full day and it does not look like it will come off on its own, should I snip it off??

Welcome to BYC. You can cut it off if it doesn't have a vein in it (it looks dry, so I think you'll be fine).
