turkey poult

i hav a 2 week old poult that has a bulge on it;s head that lookes like it full of fluid what can i do to drain it any suggestions would help:/

I would not drain it. They sometimes have illnesses they can get that cause swelling of their sinuses. Coryza is a bad one, but there are others that are not as serious. For now, I would keep the poult separated, or with a chick you don't mind losing if it turns out to be serious and contagious. Just keep it warm, with fresh water available at all times, access to a warm brooder and company. A feather duster will help, as well as a mirror to help it not feel lonely. Good luck with your bird. In an older bird you can put mild pressure on the swelling and see if any discharge shows up in the corner of their eye, near the beak. In a bird this young, I would advise against it becaue their bones are very tiny and thin and fragile.
