Turkey Poults AAAHHHH

My turkey poults are driving me CRAZY today!!!!! They are seven weeks old now and I started letting them out during the day last week. Well today they have decided that they don't want mommy inside and they are going to sit at the door and window and call till I come out!!! AAHHHHHHH

Awww, that's cute... they miss their momma! Would love to see pics of your turks. I have 13 that are just about 4 months, and 5 that are 6 weeks. Gotta love 'em!

same thing happened to me, except mine were older, i used to have to sneak off when id leave cuase they would follow me home

Mine used to chirp all the time, too, when they were little. They grew out of it though.

My turkeys stand at the window and look in at me. One female turkey started to follow a chicken in to the yard next door. The big Tom ran over to her and made her come back in to our yard. He watches over his group and also some chickens that were raised with him. He is the boss out in the yard.

Anyone who thinks turkeys are dumb haven't seen my smart turkeys.

I've got 60!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to RUN if I want to get somewhere without stepping on, over or around turkeys. But I DO love my turkey babies.
