Hi,I am planning on ordering some heritage turkeys and i had a few questions.
Will they go in there house at night and can they fly?/will they fly away?
and is there anything i need to know before buying them?

Turkeys are a blast!!

They may go in a house. But mine prefer trees and the top of chicken coop or the kennel panels that are their run. They like sleeping under the stars.

They can fly quite well. Can clear a 6 ft fence with ease if they want/need too. You keep them in food and they won't stray too far. Except hens during nesting time. I keep mine penned during that time.

Heritage breeds are about all the same except for weight and color.

I would say pick out a color you like and go for it.

I have royal palms. (Eye candy) they can be a little flighty.
My Bourbon reds are overly curious. Almost to the point of bugging. But they are big sweethearts.

The first time I got heritage poults was a learning experience, since I had BBB before and they don't fly once they get big. So if for some reason I did not herd them to their pen and it turned dark, they would end up in the trees. Now I train the babies with their mom to go in and out of their pens, I let them out and herd them with a stick to their pens. i do this several times until they get the idea. I keep their feed and water in the pens so once they get back, they know there is food and water there.
Like Feedman77 said, once the hens start laying, if you don't pen them, they will disappear for a while and will lay their eggs in the woods and maybe will stay in their nest while broody, if you are not careful and move the eggs, you may loose the hen to predators.
