Turkey silhouette in the sunset (pics)

I was bored outside tonight, and snapped these photos of the turkey roosting on my daughters playhouse, with a beautiful sunset. Funny thing is, i caught a good one, looks like he's confused... thinks hes a rooster and crowing....

I just love him. he is so sweet and talks to me every morning. he is free ranged and sleeps there at night. hes too heavy for the tree right next to the playhouse.

he still lets me hold him! and he fluffs up real pretty

Thanks for posting. I'm fighting getting turkeys...I really want some, but just don't have the room.

Wonderful photos, thank you for sharing them. He does look sweet; his feathers are like spun sugar.
