Turkey swallowed metal wire, should I be worried?

Hello Everyone, This week is my county's fair. I brought my turkey in this morning, and hung up some thank you buyer signs made out of paper, on his pen. It was held in place with floral wire. I came back an hour later, and noticed that a piece of paper was gone, along with the floral wire. I believe he has eaten it. I didn't see it anywhere around him, I didn't feel it in his esophagus or crop. But knowing him, he probably ate it.
Do I need to be worried? I'm a little worried about it puncturing his digestive tract, and him getting hardware disease. I'm going to feed him some extra grit to help move it through him. But just worried, this guy is a pet, not meat!

I removed the wire and papers from his pen as well.

Have you been able to find the missing wire?

Hard to know if he'll be able to pass wire if he did eat it.

update, He's completely fine! He is doing all well, not a problem with that bird at all!
