Turkey Tom losing belly feathers. Normal?

My male turkey is losing his chest and belly hair. I randomly noticed it one day.. does anyone know if this is normal? I have checked and sprayed him for mites and lice.

It is normal during breeding season especially if it is separated from another tom by a fence.
