Hello,
Just wondering what kinds of "extras," or even add-ins for regular meals others give to their turkeys.
I give peanuts every few days (or, sometimes, a few days in a row). They are only a month old so they are still on high protein feed (that I am running low on), so I give oatmeal occasionally. They also are getting some of a "game bird block," with various seeds and nuts.
Their water is a gallon, which I add a tsp of apple cider vinegar "with the mother" to. They also will get garlic sprinkled over their food every week once they are back outside (they are currently indoors).
I also will gives pieces of apple and banana.
What else can I safely give to them? Any specific foods great for keeping bugs away, other preventing various ailments? What's good to give just for fun?
Put words in bold so I could checkmark mentally ^^
Thanks!
