My turkey yesterday wasn't feeling too well and almost threw up. Today, she isn't looking any better. She hasn't ate but she is drinking water. She is also in her molting stage so she was already having a hard time with that. We are going to give her some probiotics in her water and apple cider vinegar. She's had something like this before but she didn't become lethargic like how she is. I don't really know what to do and she's a big turkey so it would be hard to pick her up for her to throw up and I'm a little afraid of doing that in general. I don't think it's just her molting that's making her feel this way. But she's also getting into this bucket of water because she likes putting her feet in the water. She keeps just closing her eyes while standing. And she has her feathers all low. She also is elongating her neck. Would the probiotics and apple cider vinegar help or should we take her to the vet?

I would not give ACV.

If she likes standing in the water give her a shallow pool of water to stand in. It helps them cool off.

If a vet is an option and you are really concerned, definitely see the vet.

We brought her inside so she doesn't get cold tonight. We called the vet and we're gonna bring her in tomorrow. Thank you so much for replying though 🫶

She died about 2 hours ago. She was just like some of our chickens we had. Golden, Sugar, and Pepper had died all the same ways. Had all the same symptoms. I have no idea what it could be for our chickens and our turkey to have all the exact same thing. When they die, the pass poop and our turkey threw up everywhere. We are going to get her cremated at the vet. But, it's so strange how so many of our chickens have had the same sicknesses over and over. I wish we could figure it out, but I honestly don't know what it is. We are thinking it might be the dirt that is outside of our house. When we had first moved to our house, my cat had kittens and they all died of parvo from the dirt. It must be something linked with it for it to be happening to so many birds of our flock. Thank you so much for anybody who replied or liked this post, it means a lot. 🫶

Coccidiosis could be a problem.

If you want to know the cause of death, have a necropsy done.

@casportpony should be able to help you find a place to have the necropsy done.
