About 2 months ago, my white turkey was unable to stand or walk. She improved after 3 weeks of this. I live in South Dakota so we have the cold winters. She stayed in the coop and had access to her food and water. Now my bronze Tom turkey has been experiencing same symptoms for the past 5 days or so. As a side note, he did limp on his right leg for 2 weeks or so prior to him being stuck on the coop floor. He uses his wings to flap around when he wants to reposition himself. He also is regrowing feathers that he lost under one of his wings. Any idea of what is goi8ng on?
I do also have 25 chickens that are in the same coop and they are all healthy. Turkeys and chickens free range during daylight and retire to the coop at night. No predators come on our property and the coop and outdoor pen are predator proof.
