Turkey trying to mate with humans?

I was weeding last week and my Tom came over and tried to mount my foot. I pushed him off, and he kept trying. He has 5 hens.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter if he considers you a part of the flock. If you hand raised him it increases the odds he’s going to try and mate with you because they imprint on us. When mine has done this to me I just walk him to the pen until I’m finished with the chore that has me on his level.
