One of our 3 month old female bronze turkeys has developed what appears to be twisted leg syndrome. I am not familiar with this (thankfully, it's terrible to look at) as we have had pet turkeys in the past who went through life just fine. I was told that this is common, especially in the bronze? Is there ANYTHING to do, splinting wise? Seems like it happened over night..........we separated her from the others and she eats and drinks fine. She gets up but about three step later her leg will twist to the side. We do not want her to suffer (she does not seem in pain) but before we 'lay her to rest' I just wanted to be certain there was not anything else we should try. Thank you in advance for any opinions and info.
