My BB Bronze turkey is now one and a half weeks old. Two questions, at want age can you sex a turkey? When I rolled a ball in its way today it ran up and talked to the ball, then tried to get on top of it. Does this sound like a male?
Also I have been reading on feeding turkeys and after the starter for 8 weeks most say to go with a 22% protein feed. I read somewhere if your turkey is a pet, and this one is, to skip the 22% protein and feed something 20% does this sound right?
