Turkeys and Chickens

Ok I am going into the old question can you keep Turkeys and Chickens together. I know about the blackhead and all, but lately all I have seen is people with Turkeys and Chickens in the same cage. Several people around my way are doing this and they say they have never had any problems and if you get on U-Tube that is all you see is the 2 together. I have Chickens and Guineas now together and I am looking at getting some Turkeys because of the space I have it would be nice if I could come up with a way to keep them together. If I continued to feed them medicated feed would this help or is it the people around me are just plain lucky.

From what I understand, it depends on whether blackhead is an issue in your area or not. You might ask your county extension agent or something about whether your area has any issues.
