i bet if you left a dead one out there, they'd get the hint. Problem is after watching the video, i view crows in an entirely different light now.

All true statements! When hunting crows you never kill the first one that comes to your set up. There is almost always a cross that comes before the others to check things out. Almost like a scout. If you kill that bird the others are almost certain not to come. So the best thing to do would be drop that bird and the others quickly get the hint that the area is far from safe. The pellet gun will work but something with a bang will send the message with an audible announcement

I watched the video and all those birds are SOOOOOOOO SMART!! WOW!! I had no idea. The next time I look at a crow, I will have the respect for them that they deserve. Smart little buggars.

YES!! Same here. I was also amazed at the 3/4 step problem solving. They are smarter than some people that I know. I bookmarked it to watch it again. I think I will go to the library and check out a few books on crows. I really enjoyed learning about them.
