Turkeys and quail

[Mt. Baker Quail]

I am thinking about putting my quail cages and turkeys in the same pen. Is there a disease that turkeys can pass on to quail or vice versa?

I only know about chickens passing diseases to turkeys.
I am not a quail expert so any other BYCer?

From the little bit of research I'm done, you may have a Blackhead threat but no different than from chickens. If the threat of Blackhead is low in you're area, you should be OK especially since it sounds like the quail will be contained. Might ask the quail people how prone quail are to BH disease

Disease wise might be OK, but I'd be afraid that the turkeys would kill and possibly even eat the quail.

No, I dont think so except if you have them in a really small place.Then they could peck them.
