I have 9 BBW that seem to get chilled at around the 35f temp. It's like their feathers don't actually insulate them properly. When I walk out at night and check on them (they are so big they sleep on the ground) I see alot of what looks like shivering and realigning of feathers. They will be fine for several minutes and then do it again. Last year I had a BBB that was industrial. I could come out and she'd have frost and snow on her and not give a darn. Since this is my first go with BBW, is this normal? These guys seem to have a higher "weenie" factor to them. I am so close to the finish line with these guys! I don't need to lose them now for pity's sake!
