hi so i have 6 bourbon red turkeys and I'm raising them for meat. The problem is there is a few that get over the fence ever now and then and are impossible to catch. I have been reading about pinioning but I don't think I want to go that route because there older birds and I've never done it before. I have been trimming there right wing about once every 3 weeks witch does slow down the amount of times they jump the fence. Putting a cover on the pin is not an option because there sort of just running loose in a 20 square yard pasture. Does anyone have any suggestions!?!? I'm still open to pinioning if some one can walk me threw it but it's not my first choice
