Turkeys are so funny! My poulets antics.

I was playing with my two turkeys on my bed, they are about two and a half weeks. They were strutting around, pecing at my dog's nails (he is very tolerant of annoying baby animals) and I was making turkey noises to them. I made this one noise that sounded like a turkey goble and it sent them both running for cover onto my lap and trying to bury themselves and hide! I couldnt believe it. It worked a second time and I wanted to get a vidio of it but it seemed to make them scared and I dont want to be meen.
These turkeys are pets as in not going to be eaten. They are both broad brested bronze. Its sad they wont live very long. Next time I'll get a longer living breed.
Anyway, turkeys seem to always be doing something funny. Please share a funny turkey story with me!
And if anyone could explain the behavior my turkeys jest desplayed I would be quite interested to hear any theories. Did I mimmic a turkey danger call on accident? Why didthey come hide on me? They are now both asleep in my lap. So cute!
