Haha...my turkey walks on a dog harness too. He is used to it and doesn't care. He is partially in a coop with a run unless I am out there, and other times he walls on a harness onto schools, 4h mtgs, etc. It is not cruel in any way. In fact, they enjoy their free time with their people, just like dogs!!!!

I can't let my turkey friend go just anywhere free range, bug dogs next door want an early thanksgiving dinner :/

I have a Merriam tom named Rosco and a beltsville small white hen named Vanilla. We do not let them inside the house but they are free to roam on our 10.58 hectare land...

Yes I know that from time to time people will walk past our place and stand in the middle of the road or edge and just stand and watch the Fowl in the yard pointing and talking about how pretty they are.

So walking around with a Turkey on a harness I could see that attracting some attention
