You ARE out of control over there.

Ha, ha, you are right, there! I want to be the largest turkey breeder in this area. I may already be, not sure. When the gal from the Arizona Public Media came to interview me for a TV story about my turkeys, she said she called around to try to interview a big commercial operation as well, but could not find any around here. She said they have all given it up, not profitable enough in this climate, I guess. I just really like the turkeys and am not trying to be a business or make a ton of money. If I can cover the feed cost and turn other people on to heritage turkeys, I am happy.

The BRs have me so spoiled, I wouldn't know what else to order.

My fav are the Fall Fire. When I get more space that is what I plan to order.

I saw that name but i will have to read up on t hem. Now you all have me thinking of other breeds.

Buffs were developed out of the Bourbons in more recent times; and the Bourobons were developed out of the buffs long ago.

Geez maybe developing another line of buffs would be worth while. !! THey are very rare.

I see a bird that looks like a tricolor?? My monitor isn't the best for color-- so I"m not sure what I am looking at.

Thank you. Yes, every bird in the pic is BR. That's the only breed that I have ever had.

Thanks. I love those birds. They are so comincal . When I am sitting outside, they love walking over to me and strutting and making their sounds. Now when they start pecking at my legs, arms, hair, etc, then we have a problem. The boys love pushing one another out of the way to see who can puff up the biggest.

Mine are big mushes, but visitors don't know that, and are afraid of them. lol
