Turkeys nd Chickens

I just bought some 3week old turkeys today, and i was wondering is it possible to keep adult turkeys in the same coop as adult chickens? I would separate the gobblers and roosters thuogh.

I don't know about in coop but free rangeing mine do alright and they all roost together so wouldn't see a problem.

My indoor coops are pretty big with outdoor runs. I have several hundred adult turkeys and chicken in each coop. My breeding pens are 24X24 with 3 doz turkeys and two doz chickens each. I don't have any problems. They have enough room to get out of each others way. The hens share nest.

Chickens carry a parasite known as black head. chickens carry it, however don't get it, turkeys do. So if you run them together you have to worm well or you will have dead turkeys.
