I have 3 Midget White turkey hens and 2 Toms. The one hen went broody and had about a dozen eggs that sadly a skunk stole. The 2nd hen went broody with 2 eggs in the chicken coop. I know it's not good, but I didn't have another place for her. (I had 5 broody chicken hens too) Anyway, some of the hens were nice enough to lay their eggs next to her which she gladly excepted. When I found out I took the new eggs, but some should be about ready to hatch. Will the turkey treat them like her own? At first I don't think there will be much size difference, Midget white eggs are about the same size as a large chicken egg. Any way, How do you think she will do? Or should I pull the eggs?
BTW... I'm not even sure if the turkey eggs are fertile.

If she doesn't break the eggs, I think she will be fine with the chicks, BUT ... if the turkey eggs are fertile, the chicks should hatch about a week earlier than the turkey eggs and will probably be abandond. could move to an incubator to finish off if they are fertile.

Thanks, The chicken eggs were pulled into the nest well after the turkey eggs. What doesn't hatch I will throw in the incubator.
Should be anytime now!
