Turkeys swim?

hey, today i went to visit my turkeys and i saw on of them about 5 month age, was in the water and lying in it and moving his wings into the water it was so weird to me i picked him up but he went to the water again the temperature is hot i thought he wanted to cool down and then i saw him sit on the grass feeling the sun like he wanted to get dry and then he went and eat Is he sick? Or is he going to get sick? cause he was totally wet
