Turkins?

Every year at our county fair, they have a Q&A board, and one fact on it is that chickens and turkeys can interbreed to make a turkin. Does anyone keep turkins? or have any photos of one? are they able to breed? or are sterol like mules? This thread is just my curiosity, I am not interested in breeding them myself. lol

I have turkens. They are not mixed with turkeys but are a naked neck chicken. There is a thread for them if you want to learn more about them.







The mom is a turken but that is not her baby.

I have heard of naked necks befor. never knew they were terkins.

I do not believe so. There have been some cases of fertile cross eggs but I have not seen any reports of them hatching.
