First time incubating. Have a borrowed 'bator with rotating rails. Do I ? could I ? should I ?. Still turn eggs by hand X ~ O ????

I don't know a lot about incubators but I use the Little Giant 9200 still air incubator with the 6300 automatic egg turner and I have great hatches! I know a lot of people don't like that model for whatever reason, but it works great for me. I am hatching right now and so far, I have 4 of 10 hatched with more to come and my last hatch was 23 of 26. I used the egg turner because I didn't want to have to open the incubator 3 or more times a day. The automatic turner does all the work for you without having to handle the eggs, lose humidity and dropping the temperature. I basically set the eggs and don't worry about them very much for 3 weeks except to make sure there is water in there and the temp is still on target. Just my opinion but I hope that helps.
