Turned two eggs and they POPPED, ugh.

I have silkie, silkie/sizzle and salmon faverolle eggs in the incubator. I hadnt noticed any smell? I went to turn them and on two different days, had one POP. Even then they really didnt have that horrible obnoxious smell.
These are smaller eggs, has anyone else had this just randomly happen? Could it be from bacteria getting into the egg?
I would appreciate ideas.

I've had leakers, but never an exploder. Yeah, you will detect the horrible smell

I had it happen in my big incubator at 2 in the morning!! I was hatching eggs for someone and I guess it was old! UGH that was the a NASTY smell!

The weird thing is, these might have smelled just a little when they popped but not until then.

I have had exploders, NASTY.
