I received shipped chicken eggs today. I know to let them rest but do I put them in the incubator with the turner off for three days? And place them in the incubator pointy side down??

From everything I see from members about shipped eggs it is advisable to not turn until day 3. And YES on pointy end down. Never put an egg intended for hatching narrow side up. Great luck to you!

Yes, put them in the bator but don't turn the turner on yet. Pointed end down. You can candle them and check for fine cracks before you put them in the bator.
Is a fine crack not advisable for incubating? I think I have one with a very small fine crack......

You can try and seal it with candle wax but It's better to just toss it. Bacteria has probably already gotten into the egg and as the bacteria grows, gasses are produced and it will either exploded the egg or split it open and the contents run out under the turner, creating a real mess and possibly contaminating all the eggs.
