Before I researched on how to hold eggs until you have them all, I would take them and put the eggs in the incubator each day. 6 of the first bunch didn't make it because at the time I didn't have an incubator and just had them under a light. But one lived and now it's about to hatch and the other eggs aren't, I don't want to keep opening the incubator because it could dry up the membrane for the egg. What should I do? would it hurt the other eggs if I didn't turn them for a day or two, so I could keep the incubator closed?

Not quite sure what to tell you. Try posting here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs to get the information you are looking for. Good luck!

I've decided to just buy a separate incubator tomorrow! I also have a few other eggs who are close to hatching too so I'll need one. Thanks anyways!

It would be a good idea to post on the "Duck thread," I'm sure their incubation needs differ from that for chickens. I know they take longer to hatch.
