Turning ducklings loose to the pond

I have five baby ducklings that we will eventually put on a pond. At what age do you recommend? I don't want them to be too vulnerable. Thanks

Mine are only in a backyard pool, but I think at 8 weeks old they are grown and able bodied! Good luck! Wish I had a pond, but then I would probably worry too much.

I let mine to the pond for the first time at about 8 weeks old.

I agree with 8 weeks. That seems to be the best age to let them be out on their own in a pond.
