Turning Egss in the Incubator

I have a homemade incubator where I have to manually turn the eggs. I try and turn them every 4 hrs or so but today I have to work and I probably won't be able to turn them for at least 8 hrs. Can this create a problem? The eggs are on the 5th day in the incubator.

I turn mine 3 times a day. There have been times that I could only turn twice a day. I had a 100% hatch rate. I think as long as you get in two turnings a day they are good.

I only turn mine 2 times a day when i wake up and right before bed. I also roll mine not turn

but thats mainly because i have 9 bators and they are all full but i have not had any problems with the chicks sticking to the shell except one but i am not sure what the cause was! Good luck i hope they all hatch, they are soooo cute!!!
