TV Remote Control - Who Is In Charge?

Because I'm the oldest, I always end up with the remote (more like commercial fast-forwarding) duty. Lol.

I was watching tv with my GF tonight and realized how much I appreciate that she gives me complete control over the TV remote.

... and it's even extra loving of her since I tend to pause the TV more than she probably likes

So, this got me to wondering: Who controls the TV in your relationship? Was it easy and natural (like it was for me and my GF) or did it take some "negotiation"?

My dad usually controls it..... Unless I'd like to watch live TV. ( the new magnum p.i. sucks)

Don't really have a TV. We have a 13" in the closet that we can hook a PS up to. Sometimes we drag it out for games, but mostly we keep it for after storms when the power is back but internet is not.

Ok, I spend most of my free time on BYC, but I end up watching an episode of a show most evenings. About animals, of course.

My sister (Starburst) usually controls it. I guess we don't care that much. Or she really cares and I don't.
